台風１８号：強い勢力を維持したまま本州に接近
非常に強い台風１８号は７日午前１１時現在、鹿児島・種子島の南約２３０キロの太平洋上を時速約３０キロで北北東に進んでいる。気象庁によると、中心気圧は９４０ヘクトパスカル、最大瞬間風速６０メートル。強い勢力を維持したまま本州に接近し、８日早朝には紀伊半島付近に上陸する可能性が高い。気象庁は暴風や高波への厳重な警戒を呼びかけている。
気象庁によると、西日本、東日本は７日夜から８日にかけて暴風域に入り、大雨となる見込み。８日午前６時まで２４時間の予想雨量は▽四国太平洋側、近畿南部５００ミリ▽四国瀬戸内側、東海４００ミリ▽近畿中部、関東２００ミリ▽九州南部、中国、近畿北部、甲信、北陸１００～１５０ミリ。【福永方人】

Typhoon number 18 heading Honshu
Today 11AM Oct 7th, extremely strong typhoon number 18 was in the Pacific Ocean 230km from the south of Kagoshima and Tanegashima, it is moving follow north-northeast direction with the speed of 30km/h. According to Japanese Meteorology Agency, its central pressure was 940 hectopascals and its maximum wind speed was 60 metters per second. It is heading Honshu with its strong influence. Possibly it will hit Kinohanshima area in 8th morning. The Meteorology Agency also strickly warned about strong wind and high waves.
